Queensland beauty and Akubra wow Chinese judges - again

Brisbane beauty, Joanna Leskiewicz (pictured), set the world abuzz last month by winning the Miss Global Queen International in XiangShan city in China.
And while Joanna’s beauty and personality blew everyone away so too did her two Australian icons, her AKUBRA and koala.
An audience of 2,500 saw Joanna beat 45 other contestants representing major cities around the world.
Joanna is not the first Australian beauty to win over the judges in China with poise, personality, charm – and an AKUBRA.
This time last year Renee Maurer from the Gold Coast won the Miss Tourism Queen International title in China. And she too proudly wore her AKUBRA everywhere she went.
Joanna, 24, is blonde with green eyes and works as an administration officer at a hospital in the Brisbane suburb of Windsor.
She regularly works out at the gym and once accompanied Pat Rafter at the opening of his night club, Jade Buddha, in Brisbane.
Joanna recently won the Inside Sport contest and before that finished second in the Ralph Australian Swimwear Model of The Year.
Joanna posed AKUBRA with something of a challenge before she headed off to China. She has a rather small hat size. However some inventive work from AKUBRA had the hat sitting snugly on Joanna’s pretty head for her whirlwind round of engagements.
