Deni Ute Muster Double Pass & Akubra Hats Giveaway Promotion – Terms and Conditions

 

  1. Promotion

This promotion (Promotion) is being run by Akubra Hats Pty Ltd (ABN 62 000 175 333) (we, us, our). If any person (you, your) enters the Promotion, then the entry is subject to these terms and conditions (Terms). 

We acknowledge that Deni Play On The Plains Festival Limited (ABN 50 125 560 509) (Deni Festival) has kindly provided part of the Prize for the Promotion (see clause 5 below).

 

  1. Participants

To enter the Promotion, you must:

(a) be 18 years of age or older; and
(b) complete the entry requirements as set out in clause 3 below.

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Our employees and their relatives may not enter the Promotion.

 

  1. Entry requirements

To enter the Promotion, you must satisfy each of the following entry requirements:

(a) Follow:
(i) Both our Facebook page and the Deni Festival Facebook page; or
(ii) Both our Instagram account @akubraofficial and the Deni Festival Instagram account @deniutemuster;
(b) ‘Like’ the Promotion post on any one of the Facebook pages or Instagram accounts referred to above (each a Promotion Post); and
(c) Post a comment under any one of the Promotion Posts telling us why you would like to attend the 2024 Deni Ute Muster.
No other method of entry will be accepted.

 

  1. Promotion period

The Promotion period begins at 5pm on Thursday, 19 September 2024 and ends at 5pm on Thursday, 26 September 2024. Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

 

  1. Prize

The Promotion prize (Prize) consists of the following:

(a) We will provide a digital gift voucher to be used to order any 2 Akubra hats via our website (akubra.com.au) (Voucher), up to a combined value of $780; and
(b) Deni Festival will provide 2 General Admission tickets to the 2024 Deni Ute Muster, which is being held on 4-5 October 2024 (Tickets). The Tickets include a free general camping pass. The value of the Tickets is $620. More information can be found on www.deniutemuster.com.au/tickets-on-sale-now.

The total value of the Prize is $1,400. The Prize is personal and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for its cash value, resold (at a premium or otherwise) or advertised or offered for resale through any medium.

The Voucher is made available subject to the applicable terms on our website, including in respect of returns. The Tickets are made available subject to any applicable terms on Deni Festival’s website, or which are issued along with the Tickets.

 

  1. Selection of Prize winner

We will select the Prize winner randomly from the people who have met the entry requirements for the Promotion (as set out in clause 3). We will do so using the Rafflys (AppSorteos) platform, or a similar alternative. We will announce the Prize winner at 12pm on Friday, 27 September 2024 by posts on our Instagram and Facebook. We will also send a direct message to the winner (to the extent reasonably possible) via Instagram or Facebook.

  1. Prize acceptance

The winner must contact us (via our Instagram, Facebook or website), by 12pm Tuesday, 1 October 2024, to accept the Prize. If for any reason, the Prize winner does not or cannot accept the Prize (or any part thereof) within this period, then the Prize (or part thereof) will be forfeited. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to select another winner (in accordance with clause 6) or declare that there is no winner.

 

  1. Personal information

To the extent we collect any personal information from you as part of the Promotion (including from the Prize winner), then we will use that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy (which is available on our website). This includes use related to the conduct of Promotion and any general marketing purposes. We may also disclose that information to Deni Festival for use in relation to the Promotion and for their own marketing purposes.

 

  1. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you (or anyone with whom you may share the Prize) in relation to the Promotion. We are not responsible for any changes in times or dates, cancellations or rescheduling of events, or the conduct of any third parties (including Deni Festival) which may prevent the Prize winner and/or their guest accepting or enjoying the benefit of the Prize.

 

  1. General terms
(a) Amendments: Subject to any applicable laws, we reserve the right to amend these Terms, including as required to address any misinterpretation, misinformation or misunderstanding.
(b) Disputes: In the event of a dispute in relation to the Promotion (including in relation to these Terms), our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
(c) Disqualification: We may disqualify you from participating in the Promotion for any reason in our sole discretion.
(d) Force majeure: We are not responsible if any events beyond our reasonable control (including pandemics, weather events, strikes, labour shortages etc) which may affect the Prize winner’s (or their guest’s) ability to accept or enjoy the benefit of the Prize.
(e) Cancellation of the Promotion: Subject to any applicable laws, we reserve the right to cancel the Promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever.
(f) Social media: The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook.
