Take note of the measurement in centimetres. If you're using a string, simply mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat against a ruler.

• Fine-tune the fit – If it feels a little loose at first, insert hat fillers behind the inner band. These can be removed later as the hat conforms to your shape. Your hat should feel secure enough to stay on in the wind, but never tight or uncomfortable.
