Shipping Policy


We are currently shipping within Australia and to New Zealand. If you are an international customer please contact us with the hat style and size you are requiring and we will do our best to find a retailer who can assist you.

We make all reasonable efforts to achieve and where possible exceed the following delivery expectations:

If you place your order before 10am Australian Eastern Standard Time Monday - Thursday (we no longer ship on Friday), we aim to dispatch your order the same day, and all orders after 10am will be shipped the following business day. 

Once we have processed your order you will receive a shipping confirmation email. If you click on the box “View Your Order” you will see the tracking number for your order. You can choose to receive updates by text.

We send automated messages via email or SMS when your order is out for delivery, has been delivered, or is unable to be delivered and is taken to the local Post Office. 

All product ordered via the website will be delivered to the address provided by you and confirmed by us when you place your order.

All orders must be signed for. If no one is available to sign for the parcel at the time of delivery, the parcel is then taken to the local post office. If you think you have missed receiving your order, check your tracking details. If you are still unsure of the location of your order you can contact us via email using the link on any of the email notifications you received for your order. 

As the popularity of online shopping increases, as does the number of packages delivered to homes. Unfortunately, this also has meant an  increase in missing or stolen packages. Akubra takes responsibility for your parcel until it has been confirmed as delivered to the address on the order. However, if your parcel goes missing or is stolen after delivery confirmation, Akubra cannot be held accountable for replacing it. To ensure you are kept up to date with the progress of your order we send a email notification when your parcel is on board for delivery and once it has been confirmed delivered.


All orders placed with Akubra will incur a freight charge. As you go through the checkout process online, you will see the charges relating to the size and number of purchases, and location of shipping.

If you have a free shipping code, please ensure it has been applied before proceeding to the payment section of the checkout. Codes cannot be retroactively applied to orders once they have been placed. 

We use the StarTrack Premium service for Australian deliveries. This is equivalent to Express postage. Shipping for an individual hat is $25, accessories start from $15.

The average shipping time to metro areas is around 2-5 days. For regional and remote areas the delivery may take up to an additional 7-10 working days.


Orders to NZ will be sent via Australia Post and will take around 5-10 working days to be delivered. 

Please note there may be additional delays during peak delivery times and as a result of public holidays.
