LIVE THE [rodeo] SPIRIT

You don’t need to be in the arena to live the rodeo spirit.

From Mt Isa to your hometown, this season’s about honouring tradition, and looking the part.

As proud presenting partner of the Mt Isa Mines Rodeo kicking off this week, we’ve handpicked our most trusted Western styles just for you. Ready for the road, the paddock, or the grandstand, wherever you ride out the season.

THE [call] TO ADVENTURE

It's not about where you’re going, it’s about what you wear when you get there. This is a call to the ones who seek a life of adventure. For those who find beauty in utility and pride in tradition, and freedom in the wild.

IT TAKES [6 weeks] TO MAKE AN AKUBRA HAT. THERE ARE [162 steps] IN THE PROCESS. EACH HAT IS HANDLED [200 times] IN MANUFACTURE, PASSING THROUGH [60 pairs] OF HANDS. THE YEAR [1876] IS WHEN IT ALL STARTED.

HANDCRAFTED IN AUSTRALIA

Since 1876

Founded in Tasmania by Benjamin Dunkerley in 1876. This is a story of how hand craftsmanship will always outshine fast fashion. The Akubra hat is built for exploration and handcrafted for toughness and has become a pure Australian icon.

Master Hatters

The Akubra hat can only be mastered by those who truly understand the essence of quality. Our Master Hatters have spent over a century honing their skills and perfecting their craft, ensuring each Akubra hat is designed to last a lifetime of adventure.

Kempsey

Born in Australia. Made in Kempsey. The Akubra encapsulates the very spirit of Australian culture. A culture defined by enthusiasm, courage, boundless adventure and resilience. Akubra exists through family, community, quality and longevity.

From the Heart of the Land

A Western Legacy

In the wide, open country of rural Queensland, the Curr family property stretches beyond the horizon. Dusty tracks, working dogs, and long days spent in the saddle are just part of the rhythm of life. It’s a life built on tradition, shaped by the land, and carried forward through generations.
