AKUBRA FATHER'S DAY COMPETITION
TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. PROMOTION PERIOD

1.1 The Akubra Father's Day Competition (“Promotion”) commences at 9:00am AEST on Tuesday 18 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 30 August 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

1.2 Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

2.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, and any agencies or companies directly associated with this Promotion are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 To enter, eligible participants must complete the online entry form during the Promotion Period and:

a) provide the requested entrant details;
b) provide their Dad’s first name; and
c) submit a short story about their Dad and his Akubra.

3.2 Entrants may optionally upload a photograph of their Dad wearing an Akubra.

3.3 Only one entry per person is permitted.

3.4 By submitting an entry, entrants confirm that the information provided is true and accurate and that their entry complies with these Terms & Conditions.

4. PRIZE

4.1 One (1) winner will receive two (2) Akubra Gift Cards valued at $350 each, with a total prize value of $700.

4.2 One gift card is intended for the winner and one gift card is intended for their Dad.

4.3 Gift cards are subject to Akubra’s standard Gift Card Terms & Conditions.

4.4 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

5. WINNER SELECTION

5.1 One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The random draw will be conducted using the Viralsweep Random Winner Picker tool. Viralsweep Random Winner Picker

5.2 The draw will take place by 5:00pm AEST on Monday 31 August 2026.

5.3 The winner will be notified by email from online@akubra.com.au.

5.4 If the winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw and select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries.

6. ENTRY CONTENT

6.1 By submitting a story and/or photograph, entrants confirm that the content is their own and that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it.

6.2 Entrants must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, obscene, misleading or infringes the rights of any third party.

6.3 The Promoter reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

7. PHOTO USAGE & PERMISSIONS

7.1 By voluntarily uploading a photograph as part of their entry, entrants grant Akubra Hats permission to reproduce, publish and share the submitted photograph on Akubra Hats’ official social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, for purposes relating to the Promotion, Father's Day campaign and/or the Akubra brand.

7.2 This permission is granted without payment or compensation to the entrant and applies to the photograph submitted as part of the Promotion.

7.3 Entrants confirm that they have the permission of any person appearing in the photograph to submit the photograph and grant the permissions outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

7.4 The Promoter may choose whether or not to use any submitted photograph and is under no obligation to publish or share an entry.

8. PRIVACY

8.1 Personal information collected through this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

8.2 By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being collected and used for the purposes of administering the Promotion, contacting the winner and awarding the prize.

8.3 Entrants may separately opt in to receive marketing communications from Akubra Hats. Marketing consent is not required to enter the Promotion.

9. GENERAL

9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or extend the Promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

9.3 The Promoter's decision regarding the administration of the Promotion is final, subject to applicable Australian law.
