To me, this is the perfect hat. The Cattleman may be the biggest seller but the crown is just a little short. The Tablelands is very similar in style but with the slightly taller crown this sits perfectly on my head. And the colour of Sorrel Tan is great for informal or formal wear. The other nice touches are the braided leather band and the eyelets, which not all Akubras have, for ventilation. Great hat.
Living in QLD the sun can be tough on the face and nose, so I started wearing hats daily a few years ago. I couldn't figure out why Akubras were such an icon until I handled a brand new one. My original was a 17 year old akubra my dad gave me - it was nice, but not well looked after.
Now that I have my hands on a new hat you can feel and see the quality. Shape and style are excellent. Hopefully I'll be handing this to my son in 17 years!
These hats are a great fashion accessory with four really mix and match colours to go with clothing.They are very durable and stay in shape which is an extra plus.

This is the 2nd hat I’ve sent as a gift to an acquaintance in Australia. Living the U.S., I was a little nervous initially, but using your website was completely stress free. The delivery for both gifts was so quick, and the hats arrived in perfect condition. Thank you for making this process so easy and successful. One suggestion I could add would make it perfect. Please consider adding a place on the website to include a message for gifts. Both times, the gifts were received without any information regarding the sender. Perhaps I missed seeing the opportunity to include a message?
My third Akubra, always outstanding quality. My first time ordering direct from Akubra and the delivery was amazingly fast and via Startrak who I find is very good.
This is my second Akubra hat my old one I still have & would have to be easy 20 years old.

Can't beat the quality of a genuine Akubra. Quick delivery. A pity it doesn't come in smaller sizes. I just felt a bit ripped off having to pay for the gift box which looked more like elaborate packaging. The coffee table book is a really good looking book and great to read and extremely good value for money. Great inexpensive gift.
