Yes. We offer laser engraving on selected Akubra hats, allowing you to add a personalised touch to your hat. Engraving is applied to the felt brim only (underside recommended) and is not available on the crown.

Turnaround times
Please allow approximately 5 business days for engraving before dispatch.

Personalisation & design
Customers must approve all spelling, layout and design details before engraving begins. Some fonts, symbols and artwork may not be suitable, and our team will advise what can be achieved. We are not responsible for errors that have been approved at the time of purchase.

Natural variation & durability
Laser engraving is applied to the felt and will naturally vary in depth, tone and visibility. Lighter felts typically show greater contrast, while darker felts may appear more subtle. Slight variations in positioning may also occur due to the shape and structure of each hat. These characteristics are inherent to the material and are not considered faults.

Laser engraving is not permanent and may fade, soften or diminish over time with regular wear, cleaning or brushing.

Changes, cancellations, refunds & exchanges
Orders cannot be changed or cancelled once engraving has commenced. Due to the personalised nature of engraving, completed custom engraving orders cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Refusal of service
We reserve the right to decline engraving requests that are offensive, inappropriate or may damage the product.

Customer acknowledgement

By proceeding with engraving, customers acknowledge that natural variations in tone, texture, depth and visibility may occur and accept the final outcome.
