BYRON BAY STORE WIN A $350 AKUBRA GIFT CARD COMPETITION

1. Promotion

This promotion (Promotion) is being run by Akubra Hats Pty Ltd (ABN 62 000 175 333) (we, us, our). If any person (you, your) enters the Promotion, their entry is subject to these terms and conditions (Terms).

2. Participants

To enter the Promotion, you must:
(a) be 18 years of age or older; and
(b) complete the entry requirements set out in clause 3 below.

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Our employees and their relatives may not enter the Promotion.

3. Entry requirements

You will automatically be entered into the Promotion if you subscribe to the Akubra Hats database via the competition entry page accessed through the QR code provided on promotional materials distributed at the Byron Bay Bowling Club event.

The competition entry page may be accessed and entries submitted from 8:00am on Saturday 29 August 2026 until 11:59pm on Monday 31 August 2026.

Participants may enter at the Byron Bay Bowling Club event on Saturday 29 August 2026 or subsequently from home using the QR code provided on the promotional materials, provided their entry is submitted before the end of the Promotion period.

Only one entry per person will be accepted. No other method of entry will be accepted.

4. Promotion period

The Promotion period begins at 8:00am on Saturday 29 August 2026 and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 30 August 2026.

Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

5. Prize

The Promotion prize (Prize) is one (1) Akubra Gift Card valued at $350.

The Gift Card may be redeemed for eligible purchases at any Akubra retail store or online at https://akubra.com.au.

The Prize is personal and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, resold (at a premium or otherwise), or advertised or offered for resale through any medium.

6. Selection of Prize winner

We will select the Prize winner randomly from the people who have met the entry requirements for the Promotion (as set out in clause 3).

We will do so using Viral Sweep’s Random Name Picker tool.

The Prize winner will be drawn on Tuesday 1 September 2026 and announced by 5pm on Tuesday 1 September 2026 via email, sent directly to the winner from online@akubra.com.au.

7. Prize acceptance

The winner must contact us by replying to the email we send to them in accordance with clause 6, within five (5) days following the date of our email, to accept the Prize.

If for any reason the winner does not or cannot accept the Prize within this period, the Prize will be forfeited. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to select another winner in accordance with clause 6 or declare that there is no winner.

8. Personal information

To the extent we collect any personal information from you as part of the Promotion (including from the Prize winner), we will use that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our Website.

This includes use related to the conduct of the Promotion and any general marketing purposes.

9. General terms

a. Amendments: Subject to any applicable laws, we reserve the right to amend these Terms, including as required to address any misinterpretation, misinformation or misunderstanding.

b. Disputes: In the event of a dispute in relation to the Promotion (including in relation to these Terms), our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

c. Disqualification: We may disqualify you from participating in the Promotion for any reason in our sole discretion.

d. Cancellation of the Promotion: Subject to any applicable laws, we reserve the right to cancel the Promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever.

e. Social media: The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or any other social media platform.
