WIN A HAT COMPETITION
AUGUST 2026

1. Promotion

This promotion (Promotion) is being run by Akubra Hats Pty Ltd (ABN 62 000 175 333) (we, us, our). If any person (you, your) enters the Promotion, then their entry is subject to these terms and conditions (Terms).

2. Participants

To enter the Promotion, you must:
(a) be 18 years of age or older; and
(b) complete the entry requirements as set out in clause 3 below.

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Our employees and their immediate families may not enter the Promotion.

3. Entry requirements

You will automatically be entered into the Promotion if you subscribe to the Akubra Hats database via https://akubra.com.au/pages/win-a-hat-ekka between Friday 8 August 2026 and Sunday 16 August 2026.

No other method of entry will be accepted.

4. Promotion period

The Promotion period begins at 9.00am (AEST) on Friday 8 August 2026 and ends at 11.59pm (AEST) on Sunday 16 August 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

5. Prizes

There are three (3) prizes to be won.

Each prize consists of one (1) Akubra Gift Card valued at AUD$350.

Each Gift Card may be redeemed online at https://akubra.com.au or at any of the following Akubra retail stores:

• Brisbane City – 243 Edward Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000
• Noosa – Shop 3, 2 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads QLD 4567
• Byron Bay – 85–87 Jonson Street, Byron Bay NSW 2481
• Strand Arcade – Shop 8, 412 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000
• Bondi Beach – 39 Hall Street, Bondi Beach NSW 2026
• Kempsey – 81–87 South Street, South Kempsey NSW 2440
  

Each winner may redeem their Gift Card against any available, in-stock hats or accessories online or in-store, up to the value of the Gift Card.

Each Prize is personal and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, resold (at a premium or otherwise), or advertised or offered for resale through any medium.

6. Selection of Prize winners

We will randomly select three (3) Prize winners from the people who have met the entry requirements for the Promotion (as set out in clause 3). We will do so using ViralSweep's Random Name Picker tool (https://www.viralsweep.com/random-name-picker/).

The winners will be notified by 5.00pm on Monday 17 August 2026 via email sent directly from online@akubra.com.au.

7. Prize acceptance

Each winner must contact Akubra by replying to the email sent to them in accordance with clause 6 within five (5) days of the date of our email to accept their Prize.

If, for any reason, a winner does not or cannot accept their Prize (or any part thereof) within this period, then that Prize (or part thereof) will be forfeited. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to select another winner (in accordance with clause 6) or declare that there is no winner for that Prize.

8. Personal information

To the extent we collect any personal information from you as part of the Promotion (including from the Prize winners), we will use that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on our website). This includes use related to the conduct of the Promotion and any general marketing purposes.

9. General terms

a. Amendments: Subject to any applicable laws, we reserve the right to amend these Terms, including as required to address any misinterpretation, misinformation or misunderstanding.

b. Disputes: In the event of a dispute in relation to the Promotion (including these Terms), our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

c. Disqualification: We may disqualify you from participating in the Promotion for any reason in our sole discretion.

d. Cancellation of the Promotion: Subject to any applicable laws, we reserve the right to cancel the Promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever.

e. Social media: The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or any other social media platform.
