In the late 1800s, as Australia’s frontier demanded both resilience and refinement, a defining moment in Akubra’s early hat-making history. Skilled hands in humble workshops crafted felt hats built to endure the elements while carrying a quiet sense of style.

The Fedora No. 1 draws from that legacy, reflecting an era that marked the first step in the journey of Akubra Hats. Defined by its classic fedora shape, finished with a refined grosgrain ribbon and signature enamel Akubra pin, it is confident, timeless, and enduring, carrying forward a tradition where craftsmanship and character were shaped together.
