Reshaping Your Akubra:

Each Akubra is meticulously handcrafted to last a lifetime. With regular wear, your hat might lose some of its shape. A quick steam can restore it to its original silhouette, or you can give your hat a fresh look personalised to your liking that is uniquely yours.

Step 1: Apply Steam

Use a steamer to apply steam directly to the section of the hat you want to reshape. In just a few seconds, the fur felt will soften and become more flexible.

Step 2: Reshape the Hat

Once the felt is pliable, gently reshape the hat by hand. You can also press it against a firm surface to help form the desired shape.

Step 3: Let It Set

Allow your hat to cool and dry completely. This helps set the new shape so it holds over time.
