Shape is very different from regular akubra

"We bought the cape light toast The hats look great. But they don’t feel completely great. They are very firm. I am sure they will soften over time. The internal crown is not high enough. It sits really firm and heavy on the top of the head. Again I am sure it will feel better as it softens up with wear. But the biggest issue we have had is the sizing with buying online the straw hats. They are really very big compared to our Riverina sizing, which is our comparison. So I have had to do 2 returns. My partner is a 60 in the Riverina, we went down to a M/57 in the straw for him. My Riverina is a 57, I went down to a S/55 in the straw hat, and I could do with extra filler while I wait for the leather rim to shrink. So buy one, down size and get extra fillers. We are looking forward to twinning ours when we finally have a good fit"
